- We believe in the importance of parental involvement in a
child's life and education
- We believe the administrative aspects of education
should be, to whatever extent possible, removed from
the classroom in an effort to maximize instructional time
- We understand the importance of providing parents with
enough nutritional information to properly guide their child
- We value the privacy of students and we strive to create a safe
online experience that students and parents can share.
Towards these ends, we endeavor to improve and streamline
the school lunch process.
In the days after Christmas 2000,
Jeff Molby was approached by his aunt about her
school's lunch problem. Simply put, they collected a large number of orders each
month and wanted to take advantage of the incredible advances in technology to
find a way to streamline the ordering process. She had already spent the better
part of the school year looking for solutions to no avail. While virtual shopping
carts were a dime-a-dozen by then, none came close to addressing the specific needs
of a school lunch program.
Jeff Molby was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Detroit. His father, a very successfully
self-employed blue-collar worker, instilled him with strong work ethic and a deep-rooted desire to
take charge of his career. Jeff further benefited from his close relationship to his extended family
which features more than a half-dozen teachers and many accomplished businesspeople.
